I am not one to dwell upon tragedies in our country. I feel as if so many countries have massive tragedies on par with September 11th, 2001 and, as a whole, we are so blessed as a nation it is almost obscene. That said, I had the privilege of visiting the Freedom Towers and Sept. 11th Memorial Museum in New York City this past January. It was simply stunning. When I was there, the towers were not quite finished but I was able to visit this scene at night and was overwhelmed by the amazing sight that this is. What a fitting tribute to the massive numbers of innocent lives that were lost that day. Continue reading
I have started watching “Bridezillas” reruns while I unpack boxes in my new place (yeah, that’s why I haven’t written in awhile. My bad). Since I have a lot of boxes, I have already watched hours and hours of this garbage, making me an expert in this study of crazy. Let me just start with this sentiment – If “Bridezillas” were showing men treating women the way that these “brides” treat these “grooms”, this show would have never made it to air. And, there would be massive lawsuits.
